Lead Teacher: Emma Johnson

Ms. Emma is certified in Montessori Infant and Toddler training through NAMC. Ms. Emma has worked with us since 2022. She is originally from Omaha, NE. She started working with children when she was in high school, frequently babysitting and volunteering at various summer camps. The most notable camp she worked at was Camp Floyd Rogers, a week-long sleep-away camp for children with type 1 diabetes. She was honored to be a part of that experience for three years. She moved to the area in the fall of 2021 after graduating from Peru State College with her degree in Education Studies. While there, She focused mainly on elementary and special education. She attended a Montessori school growing up, so teaching here has been a very exciting opportunity.
